Connie Sue Warren, age 71, beloved wife of Sam Warren of Tilly, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Arkansas City, Desha County, Arkansas on July 13th, 1950 to Robert Lee Reel and Thelma Haynes Reel.
Connie loved to cook for family and friends. She enjoyed making baby quilts and quilting with the local ladies in the community. In her later years, she spent a lot of time painting for her family and friends. Even though her vision and health were failing, she continued to try to do the things she enjoyed. It was especially important to her to share her faith with her kids and grand kids. Connie was always up for an adventure and on Saturday she left for the biggest adventure yet.
She was the proud mom of Tammy Warren of Tilly, Rhonda Bowden (Kenny) of Hector, Sam Warren (Patricia) of Hector and Casey Baker ( late husband, Brian) of Hector; she loved all kids, especially her grand kids, Courtney Dettlinger, Josh Henke, Sierra Bowden, Callie Warren, Abbie Warren, David Warren, Quintin Baker, Sophie Baker, and Brady Baker; she was a sister to Robert H. Reel (Donette) of Riverbank, California, Donnie Reel (Sharon) of Atkins, Ronnie Reel of Russellville, and Jeffery Chapek (Linda) of Blue River, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Connie had a few ladies that she looked upon as sisters. Her sister-in-law, Arlis Warren, was in her life since she married Sam. They basically grew up together while raising their kids and helping their husbands while having the time of their life. They shared so many memories and good times. Another dear friend was the late Nita Fitzwater of Tilly. They had great times playing cards and going on road trips. Linda Harper of Wooster whom she befriended while they lived in Perryville, Arkansas has been an unfailing and faithful friend. Linda said she loved Connie from day one. All the many hours they spent on the phone together meant the world to her. She also enjoyed all the cards and visits with Christie Rizzo. The family would also like to give a special thanks to all the staff at DaVita Dialysis in Russellville for their special care and constant concern for Connie.
A Celebration of Life/Visitation for Connie will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at Hector First Assembly of God Church in Hector, Arkansas.
Graveside services for Connie will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at Union Hill Cemetery in Tilly, Arkansas with Bro. Bob Harmon and Travis Warren officiating. Special music will be performed by Kim Treat and Carroll Small. Bearers will be Kenny Bowden, Quintin Baker, Josh Henke, Travis Warren, Daniel Davis, Tony Reel and Nathan Reel.
