George I. Morris, 69, of Waller, Jackson Township, died Friday, September 3, 2021 at his home.

Born September 20, 1951 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late George B. Morris, Sr. and Sara E. (Birt) Reabuck Morris English.

George was a graduate of Benton Area High School and then served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He had been employed by the Benton Foundry for many years and later worked for Wise Foods, Inc., of Berwick until his retirement in 2017.

George was a member of the Millville American Legion and a former member the Benton V. F. W. His hobbies included drag racing and showing his 1988 IROC Camaro at various car shows.

Surviving, are his companion, Debbie A. Eberly, of Hetlerville; his siblings: Joseph Reabuck and wife, Sue, of Stillwater; Jay Morris and his wife, Chris, of Palmdale, Florida; Philip Morris and his wife, Angie, of Palmdale, Florida; Sara E. Trovitch and her husband, David, of Berwick; a step brother, Harry English, of Bloomsburg; a step sister, Marge Edwards and her husband, Donald Edwards, of Benton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: David H. Morris and Daniel Reabuck as well as a sister, Carol Posey.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Pastor Scott L. Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Private burial will be in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery. A Viewing will be held Thursday, September 9th from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11 A. M. at McMichael's.
