Sallie died sometime between the 1900-1910 censuses, probably in Quay County, NM like her husband Benjamin. If he truly was brought back to Corydon for burial from NM, then she likely would have been as well.

Sarah Crosby "Sallie" Floyd was the daughter of Henry Crosby Floyd and Elizabeth Atkinson.

She married Benjamin Franklin Gibson Sr after the death of his first wife (her sister) on November 6th, 1866, in Union County, Kentucky.

By the 1880 census, Sallie and Benjamin live in Denton Co, TX, and Sallie's mother, Elizabeth (Atkinson) Floyd lives with them. It is likely Elizabeth died in Denton Co, TX and is probably buried there.

No tombstone for Sallie has been found, nor for her sister Talitha, nor for their husband Benjamin. It is family suspicion that Benjamin is buried in this cemetery (his parents are here and other relatives) so it is likely his first wife (died 1865) and then his second wife (betw. 1900-1910) are here as well.
