Lana was born on March 14, 1945 in Albion to Thurman and Maxine (Kline) Huff. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1963. On August 23, 1964 she married Donald L. Wood in Albion.
Lana worked at Darling Hardware Downtown Marshall for many years. She also was a waitress at several restaurants in the Marshall Area. Lana loved watching her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, camping, and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don of Marshall; daughters, Kim (Gale) Cvitkovic of Battle Creek, Lisa (Bruce) Johnson of Marshall, and Tracey (Joe) Costa of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Ashley Sobel, Amanda (Justin) Wood, Alanna Johnson, Meghan Costa, and Brittney Costa; a great-grandson ,Jameson Wood; special son, Brad (Joyce) Kraatz of Texas; sister, Sandy Carlson; and a brother, Ron (Gloria) Huff all of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Terry Huff, Larry Carlson, Cliff and Sharon Pombier, Carl and E. Jean Frazier and Robert Huff.
