Barbara A. (Hunter) Myers, age 88, of Findlay, died peacefully Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, with her daughters by her side. She was born August 8, 1933 to the late Carl and Merle (Weaver) Hunter of Carey, Ohio. She married William A. Myers on December 6, 1953 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1996.
Surviving are her two daughters: Nancy Erickson (Robert) of New Bern, North Carolina and Janet Lair (Mark) of Swanton, Ohio; stepgrandchildren: Robert Erickson (Carol) of Boyce, Virginia, Brita Adams (Shawn) of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, Justin Erickson (Heather) of New Bern, NC, and Andrea Brouwer (Jason) of Perrysburg, Ohio; grandson, Mark JW Lair of Columbus, Ohio; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was a 1951 graduate of Carey High School and remained proud of her hometown Blue Devils. She enjoyed spending her Winters in Ft. Myers Beach and Cape Coral, Florida. She enjoyed road trip adventures with friends to find the next lucky casino.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Bridge Hospice and to the caregivers from Home Instead and Right At Home for their care.
In keeping with her wishes, graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Knollcrest Cemetery, Findlay Ohio. Pastor Chris Cravens will officiate.
