Graveside services will be held Monday for Lena R. Buffington, 76, of 127 S. Gertrude, who died in her home yesterday after a short illness. Born in Arkansas, Mrs. Buffington had lived here 10 years. She is survived by five children, William Luther, Eva Hames, Evie Thomas, and Vern Luther, all of Stockton, and Euil Luther of Oklahoma; three sisters, Patsy Sisemore of Manteca, Josie Gantt of Oklahoma, and Janie Garner of Arkansas; 30 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.
