Bobby Keith Eckart Sr., 77, Corydon, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Hillsdale (Mich.) Hospital.

Born May 20, 1930, in Central, he was the son of the late Straud and Myrtle McKim Eckart.

He was a former employee of the old Davis Hatchery in Corydon and National Homes in New Albany and a member of Highland Avenue Wesleyan Holiness Church in Corydon.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ella Louise Dorton; a brother, Kelso Eckart; and a sister, Annis C. Stevens Booth.

Survivors include four sons, Bobby (Keith) Eckart Jr. of Corydon, Dr. Mark S. Eckart of Orleans, the Rev. James K. Eckart of Hillsdale and John M. Eckart of Ramsey; two daughters, Debbie Stuart of Seymour and Rachel Stuart of Greensburg; two brothers, Estel Eckart of Greentown and Creston Eckart of Indianapolis; a sister, Sara (Bonnie) Brown of Corydon; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 30, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Friday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
