Mrs Anna Christensen Thor, 58 passed away May 31 at her home north of Kimballton. She had been ill for three months, 3 1/2 weeks of which time was spent at St. Joseph's hospital in Omaha.
Funeral services were held June 3 from the home and from the Emanuel Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. in Kimballton, with burial there. Rev Holger Strandskov officiated at the service.
She was married September 12, 1918 to Irik Thor who survives.
Anna Christensen Moller, the daughter of Chris C. and Lise Moller was born December 1, 1893, four miles northeast of Walnut, Iowa and had been a resident near Kimballton for the past 11 years. Before moving to Kimballton, the family had lived at Stanton, Nebraska for 25 years. She was a member of the Kimballton Emanuel Lutheran church.
Surviviors include, in additon to the husband, Chris Moller, the father; one daughter, Mrs Clifford Thomsen of Kimballton; Ivan Thor a son, of the home; four sisters, Mrs Marie Lykke of Kimballton, Olga Ross of Bakersfield, California, Mrs Clara Christoffersen of Kimballton and Mrs Thora Bonnesen of Audubon; two brothers, Hans C. of Audubon and Juel Moller of near Gray and two grandchildren.
