Ann Chaney, 76, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was born May 6, 1954 in Oklahoma City. With her father working in the oil business, Ann lived in many different places while growing up. Following graduation from East Anchorage High School in Alaska in 1972, she returned to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Christian University, where she studied her basic education and vocal music. In her professional career, she worked at Pinnacle Consulting Management Group for 20 years, where she managed the office and schedules. More importantly she was the maker of amazing cheesecakes. She retired in 2017 to enjoy time with Benny and grandchildren. She married Benny Chaney on June 12, 1992, and they celebrated 29 loving years together. She was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Barbara Ashby. She was survived by her husband Benny; son Ryan Kohs and wife Shelly; daughter, Ashley Dick and husband Brian; and grandchildren, Jaycee Knight, Justin Kohs, and Charles Dick. Ann never met a clearance rack, sale, or garage sale she didn't like, and Black Friday shopping was her forte, often waiting patiently all night for doors to open. She was always known as The Crazy Target lady. And she prided herself with all the deals she would find. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, 3 September, at the North MacArthur Church of Christ.
