Preceding her in death were her father Cecil Alexander; mother Ruthie Malone Alexander; brothers R.C., Honey, Robert, and John; son Tony Melvin; grandchildren Britany and Christian Wood. She leaves behind her daughters Kellie Lock (Brandon), Terri Buford (Brad) and Luwana Gilbert (Chris); first son Larry Melvin, Jr. (Lesli); grandchildren Zach Melvin (Sarah), Chase Melvin (Sarah), Kylie Melvin, Kaleb Melvin, Brady Melvin (Catherine), Madison Whisenant, Brian Sanchagrin (Ashley), Blake Sanchagrin (Hannah), John Gilbert and Dakota Gilbert; fourteen great grandchildren; brother Glenn Alexander; sisters Martha Harris (Ulyss), Dorothy Bailey (Leonis) and Rita Higgins. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Lemley Funeral Home from 6 PM until 8 PM. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11 AM with Chris Gilbert presiding. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery at Locust Fork. Lemley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
