R.C. Alexander, 80 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at his home.
Born Monday, August 9, 1937 in Blount County he was the son of the late
Cecil Corbin Alexander and Ruthie Malone Alexander.
He lived in this area for thirty-five years and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are sons, Bobby Carl Swearengin and David Eugene Swearengin; daughters, Cindy (Greg) Arnett, Tammy (Toby) Ledbetter, Cynthia (Scott) Cain, Wonda Gail Lovell, Teresa Marie Jones, son-in-law,David Lynn Burks; brother, Glen Alexander; sisters, Dot (Leonis) Bailey, Martha Lou ((Ulysses) Harris , Betty Melvin, Rita Higgins, sixteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Toby Ledbetter officiating. Burial to follow at 3:00 PM at Diamond Cemetery in Guntersville, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Trent Ledbetter, Cody Mitchell, Milton Pugh, Caleb Bennett, Matt Sims, David Burks and Donald Jackson.
