Virginia Bell, daughter of George and Lottie Moore, was born near Apple River, Ill. July 30, 1916. The same years she with her father and mother moved to Kasson, Minn., residing there until her sudden death Feb. 13th, aged 3 yrs, 7 months, 13 days.
On Thursday night little Virginia went with her father when he went to do chores and played until he got thru. That night she seemed to be in perfect health. Friday morning she got up and went out into the kitchen and put her head in her grandmother's lap and said: "Grandma my head aches." then went back and laid down. A doctor was summoned and all that medical aid could do was don for her but to no avail. About four o'clock she took convulsions and before six passed away.
She leaves to mourn her loss a father, mother and two sisters, Velma and Shirley, and many relatives. She was brot to Shullsburg, Wis., to the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moore, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Burrows officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery. The flowers were many and beautiful.
