She is survived by her husband, Gregory M. Wallace of Clinton; a daughter, Sara A. Wallace of Clinton; a son, Robert T. Wallace and wife Angela L. Wallace of Alton, Ill.; two sisters, Barbara (Dave) Puyear of Helena and Sheila (Jerry) Baxley of Monckscorner, S.C.; an aunt, Roberta McKee of Seattle; two sisters-in-law, Sara (Dennis) Taylor and Cathy Kunz, both of Alton; and a brother-in-law, Jeff (Mary) Wallace of Kalispell. Paula is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members, especially two great nieces, Abby and Athena, who always made her smile.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marjorie Cadwallader.
Paula was born Aug. 20, 1958, in Kodiak Island, Alaska. She spent her childhood in Alaska and Fremont, Calif., before her family moved to Great Falls in 1973.
She graduated from C.M. Russell High School in 1976, and she met and married her husband before moving to Missoula in 1978.
As a young wife and mother, Paula returned to school and got her nursing degree from the Vo-Tech in Missoula. Paula spent the next 20 years as a nurse in Missoula, working at the Western Montana Clinic, Hospice of Missoula, and finally Bee Hive Homes, where she found her passion in caring for the elderly.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
