It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sharon Cook on August 26, 2021. She is predeceased by her daughter, Gina Grann and her parents, Jim and Lois Cook. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Schubmehl, sons, James (Christine) Riechel, Greg Grann, and her seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, sister, Roberta Castro and brothers, David Castro and Bruce Castro.
Sharon was born in Rochester, NY on February 13, 1950 and worked with her parents at Cook's Oil Company for many years. She loved to travel, was an avid book reader and master of crafts. Sharon was an active member of the Avon Fire Department.
A Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held at 5042 Lake Rd., Avon on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1 P.M. Donations are welcome and a dish to pass.
