Miss Cecil Roane Allmond, 96, died on Thursday, August 15, 2002, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong native of Allmondsville in Gloucester County. She was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Jessie Mae Roane Allmond .
During WWII she was a plane spotter.
She is survived by a multiple of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 17, 2002 from 10-11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Robert Justis.
Memorial donations may be made to the West Point Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Funeral arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va.
