Mrs. C. H. Allmond
A graveside service was conducted for Mrs. Jessie May Allmond, 88, of Almondsville, at Bellamy Methodist Church on Tuesday at 3 p.m., with the Rev. R. Allen Brown, pastor of East Ocean View Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, officiating.
Mrs. Allmond, widow of Charles H. Allmond, died at her home following a brief illness on Sunday, Dec. 2, 1962. She was a member of Shacklefords Chapel Methodist Church.
Her survivors are two daughters, Miss Cecil Roane Allmond of Gloucester and Mrs. Lucy M. McCold, of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Walter Elmon Allmond of Norfolk and Charles Van Name Allmond of Gloucester, and one sister, Mrs. Lucy M. Allmond, of Gloucester.
Active pallbearers were Henry Rilee, William Roane, Garnett Post, Frank Phillips, Sr., R. M. Armstrong and Charles A. Barbee.
