Tom Kidd of Campbellsville, son of the late Harlis and Bessie Childers Kidd, was born July 13, 1952 in Clay County, Kentucky. He died at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 23, 2021 in Campbellsville. He was a devoted man of faith, who had ministered to many people traditionally at several churches locally and around the surrounding counties, as well as one on one every chance he got. Tom was a self-taught artist who excelled in everything from oil paintings to instrument making starting at a young age. He loved working with his hands and worked for many years building cherry furniture at McMahan Furniture Company. Tom united in marriage April 13, 1973. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son ; five grandchildren: three brothers: several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters: Elmer Henry Kidd, Howard Kidd, Vernal Kidd, Mona Marchbanks, Ralph Kidd, Lou Emma Palmer and Sam Kidd.
