Death of Frank Buck, Glencoe Enterprise, Glencoe, MN. 3 Jan 1901

The many friends here of Prof. and Mrs. Frank Buck, of Wichita, Kan. will be sorry to learn of the death of their eldest son, which occurred Dec. 22nd, the following account of which we take from the Wichita Daily Eagle:

Early yesterday morning occurred the sad death of Frank Buck, eldest son of Professor Buck. Frank was a student in the college taking some of the elementary branches in the academic department. His death was the result of tonsilitis and was very unexpected. He was a very bright, active lad and every one will be very much pained to hear the sad news. Although several have died since leaving college, as far as it is known, this is the first death to have occurred among the students of Fairmount college while in actual attendance.
