Emil Albrecht, 90, of 5927 Cty Hwy. KK, Town of Wilson, died unexpectedly, Wednesday afternoon, March 31, 1993, at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Mr. Albrecht was born April 8, 1902, in the Town of Wilson, the son of the late August and Sophia (Gloede) Albrecht. He attended Jackson School.
On Oct. 26, 1927, he was united in marriage with the former Ida Roehrborn in the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Wilson. Ida, his wife of 63 years, preceded him in death April 9, 1991.
The couple had farmed in the Town of Wilson for 35 years, until Emil retired in 1967. Emil was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Wilson. He had served as an elder of the church. He was a member of the building committee, when the parsonage was remodeled, and a member of the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Ferdinand Roehrborn, Grafton and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth; two sisters. Clara and Meta and a brother, Louis.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 3, at 1 :30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Wilson, with the Rev. Arthur Anacker officiating. 'Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
