Mr. Simmons, 65, of Blandburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 24, 1956, in Blandburg, a son of the late George H. and Bertha E. (Bouch) Simmons. On February 13, 1976, in Altoona he married Tina M. Lloyd who survives along with three daughters Joanne M. Stephanic of Richland, NC., Jennifer A. (Kevin) Sherman in Mississippi, April M. (Paul) Diveglia of Roaring Spring, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are ten siblings George E. Simmons of Lynch Station, VA., Fred E. Simmons and Vernon N. Simmons, both of Fallentimber, Betty J. Mayall of Altoona, William A. Simmons of Avella, Ruth E. Hartzell of Claysville, Mary A. Hatch and Edith M. Wyland, both of Williamsburg, Ronald D. Simmons of Georgetown and Robert L. Simmons of Blandburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck had been employed as a lineworker at the former PGW plant in Tipton and was a social member of the Newburg Fire Company.

Viewing for friends and family will be held at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
