"Harry D. Holmes, son of A.V. Holmes, town Marshall of Cayuga, died on Friday last after an illness lasting less than one week. Harry was 22 years of age the 22nd of last December, and had been afflicted with spinal disease ever since he was a child, rendering him a cripple. He was kind and affectionate, and everyone who knew him was his friend. He seemed to be a general favorite with everyone.
