She was a member of Crossroads Holy Church of God and worked in the nursery for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine Dasher; and two daughters, Darlene Lynn McBride and Tina Marie McBride. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Jerry McBride; daughter, Melissa Shaffer (Bill) of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Wayne, Aaron, William, Christopher, Kamesha, and Akeem; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Ka'mari; four brothers, Billy, William, Larry, and George; and five sisters, Dorothy, Virue, Eloise, Nancy, and Delores.
