John Kreutz was married to Carolyn Nigey in 1909,they had two children John L and Warren.Jack(as he was better known) was a Champion Rodeo performer and was a charter member to "The Cowboy Hall of Fame" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a drover in his earlier years and drove cattle with his brothers from Montana to Texas."Jacks Lookout Mountain" was named for him.. The Kreutz township was also named for these brothers They were all ranchers and cattlemen and were well known in the area as good boys. When the ranch at Sweet Briar was sold to Frank Voight the spread included some 2000 acres,largely devoted to raising of livestock and feed. John had been operating the place for some 40 years.The sale encluded about 100 head of good grade holsteins and everything else on the place.
