Services for Rubin Sharp of Holtville, Ca. will be at 10 a.m Thursday at Brownfield Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Woodrow Adcock, pastor of the Brownfiled United Methodist church officiating.
Burial will be at the Terry county Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Strawberry, Ark., Sharp ranched in Arkansas until he was disabled in 1959. He then moved to Holtville, Ca. He married the former Sallie Williams of Tokio in 1931. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Sharp died at 3:15 a. m. Monday in Valley Convalescent Hospital at El Centro, Ca., following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gene and Roy Sharp, both of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Elder of Seagraves and Mrs. Meale Pugh of McClean; and five grandchildren.
