Betty "Sue" Holloway Hawkins left this life on Sunday August 22, 2021, surrounded by love. Sue was born on December 9, 1947, to Robert and Gladys Holloway. Sue married her love, Jimmy Paul Hawkins on November 26, 1965. They had 4 children together before Jim went to his heavenly home in 1985. Sue (Mom) was kind and thoughtful and truly a good person. She had the sweetest soul and many friends. She was the calm in the storm and loved unconditionally. If you knew her, you knew she loved her family.
Sue is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Her precious sisters, Jean Farrell and Joann Way; brothers, Bobby Holloway and wife Sandy and Bill Holloway and wife Jacqueline; her sons, Robert Hawkins and Jimmy Hawkins and wife Trenna; daughters, Paula Durant and husband David and Cynthia Hale and husband Cam. The jewels in her crown were her grandchildren; the love of her life, Jeanna Hadley and husband Clint; the light of her life, Jessica Riola, and husband Charlie; her pride, Blake Durant; her favorite, Brandon Hale and Jessica Favata; her joy, Lou Allain and husband Nathan; her BFF, Bailey Durant; and her baby girl Makayla Hale. She was so in love with her great grandchildren Caroline, Hawkins, Tripp, Christian and Emma.
A celebration of life will be held August 27, 2021, from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Chapel at Galbreaith Pickard in Weatherford.
