Conrad Roberts first wife was Mary Magdalene Frankforter, my 4th great aunt. I am descended from her brother, Johann Philip Frankforter (FInd A Grave # 59364377). I cannot find an entry for Mary.

Can you correct her name in Conrad's FaG entry please? My information is based on the Frankforter Family Group sheets compiled by Mary Riter and copies in the possession of Wynne Gilmore.

BACKGROUND: Born Jan. 31, 1751 in Sinn, Hessen, Germany, son of Johann Friedrich and Anna Elizabeth (Peter) Ruppert.

SERVICE: Recruited Mar 14, 1777 into the Hessian Hanauischen Jagerkorps. He was discharged July 17, 1783. (Germany mercenary troops who served with the British in the Revolutionary War)

LIFE: In 1777 he was a miller in Germany, and was 5'2" tall at enlistment. In 1784 he was listed as being a carpenter. He served in the militia of Baltimore Co., MD in 1794. He married his 2nd wife in York Co., PA, where he had moved in 1790's. He moved to Bath Township, Greene Co., OH in 1816.

DEATH: Died November, 1832 in Greene County; buried in Folck Cemetery, Bath Township.
