Surrounded by her family, Cheryl L. Ludwig, 70, of Medfield, MA passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021, at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born in 1951 in Hyannis and grew up in Wellfleet. She graduated from Nauset Regional High School in 1969.

Cheryl was the daughter of James Wilkinson and Barbara Atwood Murphy of Cape Cod.

She married Eric Ludwig in September of 1988. Cheryl was the love of Eric's life.

A dedicated worker, Cheryl worked at The Faxon Company in Westwood as a Records Manager for twenty-seven years.

Cheryl was a strong, independent, sincere woman with the heart of an angel and the spirit of a warrior who always found the good in every person. To be loved by Cheryl was to be loved forever.

Cheryl spent many summers over the last thirty years in Maine at the Red Apple Campground where she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, lobster dinners, yard sailing on Saturday mornings, drives by the beach and walks around the campground hand-in-hand with her beloved husband.

Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking, especially around Christmas, her favorite time of the year.

An avid, die-hard Boston sports fan, Cheryl loved watching the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox with family.

Cheryl was the granddaughter of the late Hardy and Avis Atwood, daughter of James Wilkinson, Barbara (Atwood) Murphy, twin sisters Brenda Jean Wilkinson (FaG# 59416526 )and Barbara Jo Wilkinson (FaG# 59416540).
