DEAD OF HEART DISEASE
ALAMEDA, April 24. - Word was received here today of the sudden death of William H. Porter, a former resident of this city, in Centerville, this county. Mr. Porter was a prominent contracting painter of the lower part of this county. He dropped dead from heart trouble this morning. Deceased was 46 years old and a native of this city.
He was a widower and leaves six children, the eldest of whom is but 15 years. Deceased was a member of the Maple Camp No. 146, Woodmen of the World, of Centerville.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, and the interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Irvington.
