A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac. A Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Calvert and Martin Funeral Home in Pontiac. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery following the Mass. Father Adam Cesarek will be officiating. Brenda requested casual attire for the visitation and funeral.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Brenda's name to Special Olympics Illinois
Brenda was born on October 1, 1952 in Fairbury, IL a daughter of Alfred "Boots" and Pearl "Polly" (Hoelscher) Fellers. She married Dennis Nolan on April 3, 1971 in Fairbury. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2009.
Surviving are her daughters: Shelly Brenner of Bloomington and Heather Nolan of Towanda; her three grandchildren: Dakota Hartley of Springfield, Nicole Brenner of Bloomington and Ryan Brenner of Bloomington. Also surviving are her three sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Oreo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Dennis; father and mother-in-law: Jack and Shirley Nolan; and one son-in-law: David Brenner.
Brenda was a graduate of Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School. She worked for the Federal Government for almost 35 years. In addition to volunteering with Special Olympics for the last several years she also enjoyed traveling all over the world with family, especially enjoying the yearly cruise she took with her daughter Heather.
Brenda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
