Eva Lois Smith, 98, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday August 19, 2021 at her home in Elizabethtown.

She was born in Elizabethtown to Joe and Mary Frances (Goodin) Wise. She was a Seamstress at Etown Sportswear. She was a devoted wife and mother of 8 children, and enjoyed helping others. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, her loving spouse, Charles Smith, two daughters, Patricia Ann and Rita Faye, son David, and a Son-In-Law Bobby Compton, two sisters Mary Kilgus, Peggy Hawkins, five Brothers Everett, Raymond, Clifford (Louis), Austin (Boss), and Kenneth Wise, and Brother-In-Law Dallas Smith.

She is survived by her two daughters, Darlene (Murrill) Kizer of Cecilia, Brenda Smith of Elizabethtown, three sons, Donnie (Diann) Smith of Florida, Gary (Linda) Smith of Prospect, Kenny (Donna) Smith of Elizabethtown, 18 grandchildren, Angie, Debbie, Chuck, Tony, Ronea, Amanda, Carla, Chadd, Michelle, Carrie, J.R., Matt, Jermey, Brandon, Bradley, Ashley, Meagan, Cameron Smith, 37 Great Grandchildren, a very helpful brothers James and Several very special nieces, and nephews, and several special caregivers.

Family requests due to COVID-19 that only family attends visitation and services.

A Graveside service will be held at Hardin Memorial Park on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. With Rev. Chris Nall officiating.

Visitation will begin on Sunday 12:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
