Mrs. Catherine Ambrose Allard, 88, of 84 Hudson Ave., Green Island, died after a long illness. She had resided in Green Island for the last 45 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church of Green Island, and a member of its Rosary Society. Mrs. Allard was the widow of Joseph H. Allard, and mother of the late Alfred A. Allard.

Members of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church will meet tomorrow at at the McNulty Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Ave., Green Island, to pay their respects.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Keating and Mrs. Lawrence M. Connor, both of Green Island; two sons, Joseph T. Allard of Richfield Park, NJ, and Charles R. Allard of Green Island, and ten grandchildren.

The funeral was held, Thurs., from the McNulty Funeral Home, and then from St. Joseph's Church, where Absolution was given. A Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church on Monday. Interment was in St Mary's Cemetery at Fair Haven, VT.
