Judy worked at Mercy Hospital as a nurse primarily in the surgery department along with various other nursing positions. She was active in the ND LPN Association and served on the state board.
Judy's children and grandchildren were her biggest passion in life. She loved sharing stories of their adventures hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. She served as the State Treasurer for Snowmobile ND. She also loved to bake and host holiday and family gatherings in her home. Preparing for the big day with grandma was always as exciting as the event itself. No one ever left her home without some goodie in their hand.
Judy and Gordy raised two children, Tamie Anderson and Todd (Christie Anderson) of Valley City. Including her children, she is survived by 6 grandchildren: Logan, Cole (Jacee Lunde), and Riley Gerntholz, Alliya, Kassydee, and Zackary Anderson, 1 great grand-daughter Payton, soon to be born great-grandson Greysen, and her sister Joyce Saji.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordy, and one sister Harriet Johnson.
