Mrs. Thomas was born March 23, 1947, in Shaw, MS, and grew to be a true Christian woman who loved the Lord and the church. She and her husband, Larry Thomas, were long-time Baptists and members of Carriage Hills Baptist Church, since 1975.
Catherine left her unique impression on every life that she came in contact with, as everyone was drawn to her outgoing and loving personality. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Most days could find her caring for her grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her loving husband, Larry Thomas of Southaven, MS; two sons, Larry D. (Jean) Thomas, Jr. and Rodney Dale (Dawn) Thomas both of Horn Lake, MS; two granddaughters, Jeanne Marie Thomas of Southaven, MS; and Holly (Wesley) Briggs of Horn Lake; and one grandson, Ralph Victor Thomas of Lake Cormorant, MS; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Arriana Wright of Southaven; and three great-grandsons, Evan Carter Wright of Southaven; Aiden Jace Thomas of Lake Cormorant; and William Briggs of Horn Lake; her mother, Frances Dye and, one brother, Rex Dye, both of Crenshaw, MS.
