Ralph Victor Dye, 74, retired trucker, died of heart failure Sunday, April 14, 1996, at his home at Crenshaw. Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, at Crenshaw Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Longtown Cemetery. Nowell Memorial Funeral Home had charge.
He was a former member of the Crenshaw Fire Department.
Mr. Dye, the husband of Frances W. Dye, also leaves a daughter, Catherine D. Thomas of Southaven; a son, Rex Dye of Crenshaw; a sister, Inez Cergnul of St. Petersburg, FL; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to Crenshaw Baptist Church.
