born in Coosa county, Ala., Jan 2, 1845.
At the age of 16 Browning Bozeman was mustered as a volunteer,in April 1861,he went to the scene of war in Virginia with his brother William. Though so young he made a noble soldier, for the Confederacy. In 1867, September 29th, he married Miss Mattie A Pylant, sister of William E. Bozeman's wife, and engaged in tilling the soil in Milam county, Texas.
