SPEARVILLE – Debbie Tasset, 65, died August 16, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, Kansas.
She was born May 3, 1956 at Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Paul and Betty (Fose) Kraft. On January 8, 1983 she married Tom Tasset of Spearville, Kansas. They lived on a farm south of Spearville. She was a farm wife and she loved spending time with her granddaughter. She was a beautiful person inside and out, she would so anything for you. Debbie had a big smile and loved being at the lake with her sister.
Survivors include: her husband, Tom Tasset, Spearville; her daughter, Aubrey Tasset, Wichita; her granddaughter, Leiyah, Wichita; her sister, Cindy Klein, Dodge City; 2 brothers, Tony Kraft, Dodge City, Terry Kraft, Palm Springs, California; many nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Kraft in 2009 and her mother, Betty Kraft, July 2021.
Vigil Service will be at 7:00 pm Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am Saturday at the church with Fr. John Forkuoh presiding. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
