Paul attended Staunton High School graduating class of 1977. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana State University.
Paul was a car enthusiast and avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was an ISU supporter and enjoyed attending ball games. He was a lover of all animals. He often enjoyed going to the Terre Hate library in his free time.
Paul was a supporter of the ministries in Israel, a Patriot, and spent many years as a photographer.
Most recently, Paul was a delivery driver for Advanced Auto.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernie John Phillips.
Survivors include his mother; Mary Lucille (Killion) Phillips, his sister; Rebecca "Becky" Phillips; Aunt, Betty Johnson, and extended family and friends.
Private burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
