Ruth Metcalfe (Reitzel)
Passed away peacefully with her daughter Carolyn by her side. Ruth is predeceased by her first husband Clare Reitzel (1959) and by her second husband John Metcalfe (1997). Loving mother to Carolyn and Brian (Barbara), as well as stepson Michael (Beryl) and her late stepdaughter Jean. Remembered by her grandchildren Nolle (Glenn), Tamara (Tim), Clare (Meagan), Adele (Matthew), Lisa (Adam) and Clare (Lani). Much loved by her great grandchildren Mark, Adam, Angela, Katherine, Jennifer, Zoe, Quinn, Johnathan, Simon, Emily, Virginia and the late Zoë. The family would like to extend a thank you to the entire nursing staff at both Oxford Manor and Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, and Caressant Care, Woodstock. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday August 4th, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London (at Wavell). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
