He was born Oct. 6, 1929 in Bristow, [Oklahoma] to Lester and Edith Wilson. Mr. Wilson had retired from the Corps of Engineers as a Budget Specialist.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Wilson; parents, Lester and Edith Wilson; brother, Chester Wilson; and sisters, Gracie Mayberry, Margie "Boots" Walters, and Lenora Ann Wilson.
Survivors are his son, Lester Dale Wilson of the home; daughter, Dayna McMillion of Denton Texas; grandchildren: Haley McMillion and Samantha McMillion of Denton; brothers: Kenneth Wilson and wife, Ruby of Sapulpa, Larry Wilson and wife, Karen of Sapulpa; sister, Carol Livingston of Midland, Texas; brother-in-law, Gene Mayberry of Sapulpa; and sister-in-law, Violet Wilson of Sapulpa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be held at 2 pm Monday, Sept. 15, [2008] at First Church of God in Sapulpa. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Ken Price. Interment will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, [Sapulpa] under direction of Smith Funeral Home, [Sapulpa].
