John H. Kopp, 66, of Carrollton, died Sunday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Louisville. He was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a Baptist and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion Post 41, Carrollton, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. His wife, Dorothy Gross Kopp, died in 1973. Survivors include a daughter, Ollie Yeary of Worthville; sons, Thomas Kopp and Patrick Kopp, both of Worthville; sisters, Pauline Blankenship of Carrollton, Jessie Thomas of Frankfort, Edith Herndon of Metairie, La.; Jean Ratlief of Orange, Va., and Faye Arvin of Madison, Ind.; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton. The body was donated to the University of Kentucky Medical School. Memorials are suggested to Moose Heart in care of the funeral home.
