VIVIAN LEE CRENSHAW SIMPSON, 89, passed away at her home in Fort Worth after a short battle with leukemia.

She was born on August 12, 1918, in Carrollton, Texas. She married Wayne Ebbie Simpson in 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Ranger and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 20 years before retiring. She loved her family and home and took great joy in caring for them. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ranger and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne.

She is survived by her son LTC. Larry L. Simpson and wife, Pam, and her grandchildren Robert and Meggan of Ft. Worth, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ranger.
