Amelia "Meme" Graninger, 84, of Spotsylvania County passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 9, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

After retiring, she loved spending time with her family, playing cards and watching game shows.

Survivors include her children, Trudy Oliver (David) and Al Graninger (Cathi); four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters Celia Payne and Cindy Williamson (Allen); step-father Frank Pickett; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Graninger; mother Velva Pickett; father James Gallahan; step-mother Faith Gallahan; and brother Jimmy Gallahan.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
