Anna Marie Elizabeth (Hennessy) Lamb passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Wilton, New York, after years of care by staff who touched her life as she did theirs.

Ann was born in Syracuse, New York, on April 10, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Margaret and John Hennessy.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Gene, and her husband, Eugene and her brother and sister.

She was a member of St. Edwards Parish in Clifton Park, New York.

She graduated from Alfred College at a time when not many women attended college.

She worked as a secretary while waiting for her future husband to come home after serving in India during World War II.

First and foremost she was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Additionally, she enjoyed playing golf, cooking, sewing and fixing her home the way she loved it.

She is survived by her daughters Carole Prisco (Charles) and Elaine Alberti (Robert) both of Saratoga Springs. Additionally she has five grandchildren, Jeff, Michael, Amanda, Gabrielle and Nicholas, and 4 great grandchildren, Gillian, Caleb, Hudson and Leighton.
