Most Holy Redeemer was consecrated in 1925. It includes 100 acres, 48 of which have been developed and includes mausoleums, lawn crypts, an urn garden, shrine (lawn level markers) sections, monument (both lawn level and upright markers) sections, as well as family heritage lots. In 2012 the state's first Catholic natural burial preserve was added. This section will remain a meadow with wildflowers and gravestones that look like actual granite stones or wooden crosses. The cemetery is part of the Albany Diocesan Cemeteries, which manages 18 Catholic cemeteries in the New York Capital District. Office hours are 8:30 – 4 M-F . There is a $25 per request look up fee.
