DILLMAN, DR. TED Dr. Ted Dillman passed away Sunday morning, March 12, 2006, at his home in Vancouver. During his long life he touched many lives and was in turn touched by many. He founded Columbia Surgical Group in 1960 and always loved his life as a surgeon, father, sailor and student of life. After retirement Dr. Dillman volunteered at the Community Health Clinic Southwest Washington Health District, painted, and continued to study life, religion and Politics. He is survived by his children, Kass, Ann, Lyn, Laurie and Russ; and adopted children, Susan and Shannon. He was preceded in death by adopted daughter, Christy. Ted was close to his seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and will always serve as a source of pride and inspiration for them. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, in The Unitarian Universalist Hall, 4505 East Eighteenth Street in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Vancouver Free Clinic or Mercy Corps.
