Dillman and Judith Hegarty; grandfather of Laura, John, Matthews, Jim, Mary Kate, Elizabeth, Bethanie and Mark; great-grandfather of Cole; brother of Dr. Ted Dillman and Jack Dillman. ∼James Russell Dillman was the father of six children, and the grandfather of nine, great-grandfather of one when he died. A 1946 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he worked for the General Electric Company in various divisions as a Sales Engineer for 38 years. He retired in 1986 to care for his wife Elizabeth.
