Jennifer graduated from St. Mary's Academy in the class of 1962. She worked for the Medical Society Exchange in Indianapolis for many years. She then went on to work for many years at Community Hospital East in the billing department as a supervisor.
When not working, Jennifer enjoyed swimming, fishing, and bird watching. She loved to take trips to the casino and cheer on the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers. Jennifer was talented in the kitchen; her delicious breaded pork tenderloins were loved by all those lucky enough to enjoy one. Jennifer was a very supportive MeMe to her great nieces and nephews; she never missed any of their special events. She will be remembered as a caring and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all of those who loved her.
Along with her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Cross and her brother in law, Bob Cross.
Survivors include her sister, Wilma J. Cross; her very best friend, Glenda L. Hess; her nephews, Bob (Kim) Cross and Scott Cross; her great nieces and nephews, Max, Cassidy, Billy (Britt), Grace, and Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jennifer will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in St. Mark Catholic Church, 535 East Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Following the Mass, Jennifer will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery next to her parents. Final care and funeral arrangements are entrusted to the O'Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
