Lillie Bowen, 94, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 in her home.

She was a seamstress at Kay Chair Company in Fort Smith and loved gardening and being outdoors. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl T. Bowen, three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by two daughters Carla Ellis and husband Edward of Fort Smith and Dee Healy and husband Lynn of Arkadelphia; two sons Tommy Bowen and wife Sue and Gary Bowen and wife Ginger all of Van Buren; ten grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, a host of good friends.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2301 Midland Blvd in Fort Smith with a private family burial to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim Bowen, Kevin Bowen, David Bowen, Larry Campbell, Justin Healy and Jeremy Healy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lillie's Sunday School Class and Dave Lovegrove, Mark Brown, Joe Brown and Gregg Fann.
