He had lived and farmed all of his life in Shawnee Township. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He had served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3318 of Attica.
Surviving, are: a daughter, Nancy (Ralph) Tillotson, Attica; four grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Matthew and Emily' Tillotson, Attica; and several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by the three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Friday) the Jeff Newton officiating. Burial with military graveside services will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society." – Fountain County Neighbor, December 12, 1997
