Bobby J. Pace, 82, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on August 5, 2021, in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Bobby will always be remembered as a loving father and friend to all that knew and loved him.

He was born September 28, 1938, in Haskell County, Texas to Roy and Loretta Pace. Bobby married Thelma Jeanette Collins in 1955 in Fort Worth Texas.

They founded Hurst Glass Company in 1962 in Hurst, Texas which later became Bedford Glass and Mirror and moved to Bedford, Texas in 1977 and are still operating today by family members.

While working full-time, they raised three boys and supported them in various activities, whether it be sports, AG, or rodeo. They sponsored the rodeo club, Bobby coached Little League baseball, and they both spent many hours traveling to stock shows and rodeos.

Bobby and Thelma were known to all of the boys his friends as "Mom" and "Dad".

Bobby is survived by his sister Peggy Shumate of North Richland Hills, his brother Billy Pace of San Antonio, his sister Janie Carson of Fischer, his brother David Pace of Fischer, sons Jim Bob of North Richland Hills, Steve of Richland Hills, and Joe of Brady, grandchildren Justin Pace of North Richland Hills, Joanna Chairez-Pace of Bedford, Jessica Krueger of Gruene, Cherie Pace of Weatherford, Courtney Ross of Slaton, Casey Pace of San Angelo, Joe Scott Pace of College Station, great-grandchildren Pace Fulton of Weatherford, Mesa Ross of Slaton, and Jentry Ross of Slaton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Lorreta, and his wife Thelma, and his brothers Jackie and Glenn Pace.

The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, August 10th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas.
